Kyle Church is a folk singer songwriter from the badlands of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Influenced by writers like Jon Foreman and Gregory Alan Isakov; Kyle aims to write where the honest truth intersects with the beauty of ordinary life.
Since his first album debuted in 2017, Kyle has toured throughout Canada; having shared the stage with the likes of Joshua Hyslop, George Canyon, Mike Edel, and Jess Ray . Kyle’s laid back personality translates smoothly to the “easy listening” nature of his music, and his storytelling at live shows is usually equally as light and humorous as it is deep and thought-provoking.
“His music reflects his heart for beauty, the Good Life, and the hope we find between the cracks.” – Preston Pouteaux, The Chestermere Anchor
Kyle’s first full length album, “Slow Down” took home GMA Canada’s Folk Album of the Year in 2019 and in the same year he was also nominated for WCMA’s Spiritual Artist of the Year. Kyle is just coming off the release of his second full length album, Plant a Garden which released in May of 2023.
